Hello everyone, I am Bokey. Today, I bring you the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore 15710ST, a brand-new V2 upgraded version from APS Factory. The main upgrade this time lies in the movement, which uses Dandong Factory’s newly developed 3120 integrated movement. This movement was previously used in APS Factory’s 15400 model and has received very good feedback from watch enthusiasts regarding its stability and accuracy. Now, APS Factory has applied it to the 15710 model. Below, let’s discuss the specific craftsmanship details of this latest APS Factory 15710 V2 upgraded version through simple images and text.

Authentic parameters: Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Series 15710ST.OO.A002CA.01 wristwatch Price: 167,000

First, let’s take a look at the APS Factory Audemars Piguet 15710ST upgraded version’s factory packaging materials, which include a very simple paper transportation package printed with the watch model information 15710ST.O0.A002CA.01.

Take a caliper to measure the dimensions first. Through actual measurement, the APS Factory 15710 V2 version has a case diameter of 42mm, a thickness of 13.9mm, and a weight of 175.6g. The overall dimensions and weight are not significantly different from the authentic model.

From the front, the brushing on the entire case of the APS 15710 is relatively bright. The mirror uses sapphire glass material with very high transparency. The dial’s index markers are also quite shiny, and the brushing process on the entire bezel is extremely delicate. Holding it in hand, the steel craftsmanship feels truly excellent, on par with the workmanship of the ZF Factory and JF Factory 15710 models.

Regarding the inner diving bezel, Bokey personally thinks APS Factory’s version has a slight shortcoming: the markings on the inner bezel are slightly thinner and less three-dimensional. It would be more accurate if they adopted the dual inner bezel markings like those on the ZF Factory or JF Factory 15710 models. Hopefully, APS Factory will improve this in the future.

The bezel screws are also recessed, though some factory units may have unscrewed screws failing to achieve the recessed effect. This can be resolved by having merchants carefully inspect and tighten them.

In terms of the hands, APS Factory has polished the 15710 to a relatively bright finish. The central axis part is also closer to being solid, unlike the JF Factory 15710 where it is hollow all the way through. Of course, this solid central axis is inherently part of the 3120 integrated movement!

The small square markers on the dial are also accurate. Unlike the 15703, the APS Factory 15710 does not feature CD pattern on the small squares, which are instead treated with a smooth finish—this is a distinction from the 15703. APS Factory has handled the gloss and layered texture exceptionally well, and each small square’s edges are beveled, enhancing their three-dimensional appearance and visual depth. The date window at the 3 o’clock position is equipped with a magnifying lens and blue anti-reflective coating. The date font fully fills the window, matching the authentic model’s shape.

The case is still made of 316L stainless steel and assembled from several major components, consisting of a bezel, black rubber ring, middle case, and case back from top to bottom. The crowns on both sides are also wrapped in rubber: the left crown adjusts the inner bezel, while the right crown serves the simple time-adjusting function, both of which are screw-down crowns.

The back of the APS Factory Audemars Piguet 15710 also features a transparent caseback design with a sapphire glass mirror in the center. The caseback bears some serial number information of the Audemars Piguet brand, and the engravings are relatively thick and deep. It should be noted that the authentic 15710 model has different engraving styles in different years: older versions have shallower engravings with an additional line of coding featuring a letter “m” followed by a four-digit number, while newer versions have no extra line of coding and deeper engravings. The APS 15710 corresponds to the newer authentic model in this regard.

In terms of the movement, other factories such as ZF Factory and JF Factory also produce this Audemars Piguet 15710 model on the current market, but they all use the Japanese 9015 movement with a modified bridge , and its balance wheel is positioned at the 6 o’clock direction. In contrast, APS Factory uses the Dandong 3120 integrated movement, with the balance wheel located at the 4-5 o’clock direction, the same as the authentic model. The entire structure is a 1:1 reproduction of the authentic movement, eliminating the “obviously fake” appearance. Additionally, when winding the watch, the gear operation can be observed, which is significantly different from the 9015 movement with a modified bridge. However, upon careful inspection of the hairspring and balance wheel, slight differences from the authentic model can be found: the authentic balance wheel has counterweight weights, while APS Factory’s version does not, which is a distinction from the genuine product. Nevertheless, the movement bridge is highly polished, and the color of the automatic rotor matches the authentic golden tone, resulting in a relatively high level of overall authenticity.

The end links where the strap of the APS Audemars Piguet 15710 connects to the case are also movable, with a moderately sized range of motion. Personally, it feels better than the JF Factory version, as the JF Factory 15710 has a larger range of movement, which seems rather subpar.

The strap is made of natural rubber, with an overall good texture and moderate softness, not too rigid.

The buckle features a pin buckle design, with the AP brand letters engraved in the middle. The base color has a matte texture, while the other parts are treated with a delicate brushing process.

The back is treated with a matte finish and has a line of “ACIER INOX” engraving.

The luminescent effect is also green, and personally, the brightness duration is felt to be slightly inferior to the authentic model.

In summary, regarding the V2 upgraded version of the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore 15710ST launched by APS Factory, Bokey personally believes that in terms of authenticity, improving the printing process of the inner bezel would make it even better. As for other aspects, the 3120 integrated movement has undergone more than a year of sales verification through the APS 15400 model, demonstrating its stable performance and reliability. Overall, the APS 15710 equipped with the 3120 integrated movement has reached a new level, and compared with the ZF Factory or JF Factory 15710 models, it represents a qualitative leap—at least when held in hand, there is no longer a need to worry about the movement being immediately recognized as fake.
