At present, there are three manufacturers making the Rolex Yacht – Master watches, namely AR, EW, and C Factory. AR is rather slack. It was considered to have done well before, but it has never been upgraded. It still uses the movement modified from Seagull’s 2824, and there has been no improvement in details. If you care about the workmanship of details and want the best version, then it must be the CLEAN/C Factory Rolex Yacht. C Factory is excellent in workmanship and details in all aspects, easily surpassing AR and EW. The dial color of CLEAN is adjusted according to the original color, which is very close to the original. The bezel uses electroplated PVD white gold + anti – fingerprint coating, and the bezel material has been changed from ordinary brass to stainless steel. That is to say, even if the bezel is knocked and the electroplated layer is damaged, exposing the base color, it is still the same as platinum. But the hardness of stainless steel is higher than that of ordinary copper. Although the bezels of AR and EW are made of 904 steel and electroplated with platinum and polished to a high finish, there is still a slight difference in gloss compared with the original. Also, the font on the dial of C Factory is more three – dimensional, which is also a difference. C Factory uses the Shanghai 3235 movement, which has the same functions as the original, and the movement is relatively stable and accurate. Overall, it doesn’t look much different from the original. The dial has a simple structure with three large hands + date. The second hand is blue.
