The Fifty Fathoms series of timepieces quickly stands out for its practical functions designed specifically for divers. Its well-known features include large fluorescent hour markers and hands, forming a sharp contrast with the black dial and unidirectional rotating bezel. The steel case with a soft iron inner layer can effectively protect the movement from magnetic fields.
The unidirectional rotating bezel front ring with a reverse ratchet structure is equipped with a scratch-resistant domed sapphire crystal bezel. To further enhance the visibility of the surface in various environments, its markings, scale hour markers and hands are all coated with Super-LumiNova®. The date position is arranged between 4 o’clock and 5 o’clock. At the same time, other highly recognizable DNA is retained one by one. There is a white and orange two-color hygrometer device, which is a signature of this series of watches, above the 6 o’clock position on the dial. This design is often called a small sun by watch friends. If moisture penetrates the watch, the small disc at the 6 o’clock position on the dial will turn from white to red, playing a warning role.
With a see-through back design, the movement still uses the highly stable Dandong customized version 1151 movement. The deck is bright, the polishing is excellent, and the details are impeccable!
