The DIW factory has launched a total of three colors. Compared with black and white, Bokey still thinks that the black and blue disk is the best looking.
DiW has remade the external parts of the Nautilus 5711 watch on a large scale, including the chain strap and bezel are made of carbon fiber, and the case itself is covered with black and brushed with DLC plating, which reduces the weight of the watch from the original 115 grams to 80 grams, making it much lighter to wear. As for the face plate of the watch, it has also been changed to a black tone that echoes the case, including the hour markers, hands, etc. are also plated with black, and the face plate is printed with a white “DiW” logo at 6 o’clock, which is low-key but innovative to make PP’s classic sports watch new.
The design of this carbon fiber 5711 is to replace the bezel and strap parts with complex carbon fiber textures, reducing the overall weight from 115 grams to more than 80 grams. The parts that are not remodeled with carbon fiber are covered with DLC coating.
In terms of the strap, the combination of the stainless steel case and the carbon fiber material watch section is not only durable, but also gives the watch a unique texture. The details of the strap are very delicate, and the clasp and other fonts are clearly recognizable, showing the DIW factory’s unremitting pursuit of quality.
The case of the Nautilus 5711 The Black Grail, including the edge of the transparent back cover, is actually black-plated stainless steel, but the Nautilus 5711 The Black Grail G-Blue is made of carbon fiber even with the case and the central joint of the strap. This is evident from the carbon fiber texture of the lug and the edge of the back cover. Therefore, the weight difference between the two Black Grail Golden Eagle 5711 mainly occurs in the different materials of the case parts, so the G-Blue is not only a change in the color of the face plate, but also a detailed evolution of the case material, making the watch lighter and more comfortable to wear.
Overall, this front workmanship is still very good, and the color of the disk is in place. Unfortunately, it is equipped with PPF’s 9015 splint movement, which cannot be used in the 3K factory’s integrated 324 movement. If DIW can cooperate with the 3K factory in the future, it will be perfect.
