Bokey TimeHello everyone, this is Bokey Watch Industry. In this issue, we will introduce the latest Audemars Piguet Code 11.59 series Ref. 26600 tourbillon skeleton wristwatch launched by APP Factory. Now let’s introduce some of its highlights.
Highlight 1. A mere glance cannot capture the complexity and impressive craftsmanship of the Code 11.59 series. Its seemingly round case with a slim bezel is actually a bold, multi-faceted fusion of juxtaposed architectural shapes. In homage to the brand’s iconic Royal Oak bezel, the middle layer of the case is octagonal, equipped with a thick brushed strap and polished chamfers. The lugs also feature a brushed surface and polished bevels and are hollowed out in design. Connecting the bezel and the back cover, an arch protects the middle layer of the case. The contrast between the middle layer of the case and the bezel, lugs, and back cover highlights the delicate structure of the case. The case diameter is 41 millimeters.
Highlight 2. The dial is protected by an arched hyperboloid sapphire crystal mirror. The mirror is higher than the bright polished bezel, providing an unobstructed view of the skeleton tourbillon movement. The custom AP 2948 movement is a multi-layer manual winding tourbillon movement. The vertically arranged movement has the tourbillon at the 6 o’clock position and the barrel at the 12 o’clock position, bringing pleasant symmetry to the skeleton design. The elegantly curved bridges of the movement are in three different shades of gray, highlighting the depth and contrasting with the light gray barrel and gear train. The inner-buckled nylon/leather strap is equipped with calfskin lining and comes with an AP pin buckle.
This time, the APP factory offers four color schemes for watch enthusiasts to choose from.
