This classic green needle model remained in production for 12 years until it was discontinued in 2019. Now, after a five-year hiatus, the green needle GMT has been reintroduced in 2024, signifying that Rolex continues to leverage the marketing appeal of nostalgia. However, this new model has undergone design improvements, making it far more recognizable than its predecessor.

The original genuine product is still matched to the 3285 movement, while the ARF factory uses the new Shanghai 3285 movement. In terms of time adjustment function, it is synchronized with the genuine fast-adjusting hour hand design, and the dynamic storage can also reach 70 hours. Before, the old Shanghai 3285 movement only had more than 40 hours. Now the new Shanghai 3285 has solved the problem of low dynamic storage.
In summary, the ARF Factory “Pidan Bezel” model is crafted using the same technical processes as the Clean Factory, with the only difference between the two lying in the movement. However, it is priced several hundred yuan cheaper than the Clean Factory version.
